Henry County High School will be hosting a Fill Out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Night with KHEAA on Tuesday, January 7, 2013 from 6:00- 8:00 PM in the high school media center. This application is required for any student seeking federal financial aid – including grants and loans – for all colleges and universities in the nation. A financial aid professional from KHEAA will be here to help students and parents fill out the FAFSA. Students should attend with a parent or guardian and bring completed 2013 IRS 1040 tax return and other 2013 income and benefits information for parents and students. It is very important for parents and students to have pin numbers before the workshop and you can apply for this at www.pin.ed.gov. In Kentucky, grant and scholarship programs help thousands of students every year. Students who file the FAFSA before January 15th have the best chance of receiving these funds. Students have been given a list of documents needed to fill out the FAFSA on Friday. December 20, 2013 or you can access those documents on the counseling website. . Please contact Mrs. Rice at 845-8675 for any questions.
