Interim Superintendent Named

Fentress

“Interim means as long as the board needs me or wants me to help them. There’s a start date on my contract, but not an ending date,” Fentress said. “Many times it’s a period of three to six months. My time in Henry County will end at the board’s discretion; whenever the board selects a new superintendent.”

Fentress said during his time at Anderson County he developed close working relationships with personnel in Henry County, primarily in the realm of athletics as the two counties share a region in many sports.

“I’ve been to The Roy many, many times over the past years, and I know quite a bit about Henry County,” Fentress said. “I look forward to my time in Henry County, and getting to know its students, families and staff. I’m excited to get started.”
