The Theatre Downstream Presents ...

With two successful shows under their belts, the dedicated members of Henry County’s Theatre Downstream are excited to announce their next project “It’s Complicated: An Evening of One Acts About Life, Love and Other Important Things.”

 

This production intertwines a series of one act plays with live music to tell the stories of a cast of unforgettable characters as they maneuver their way through … well ... life, love and other important things. It promises to be an entertaining evening that features the dramatic and musical talents of some of our established Trout Troupe, as well as a few new faces! We are are also pleased to showcase the talents of local playwright, Ashley RaymerBrown, and guest singer/songwriter Rachel May. With 27 actors and singers involved, no matter your age, you are sure to find a connection to the themes in this sweet, funny and thought provoking show.

 

“It’s Complicated” features the talents of: Brian Douglas Barker, Jill BarnesMoore, Kennedy Brown, James Russell Cooper, Morgan Davis, Sarah Davis, George Fabish, Melodye Fletcher, Emily Herbert, Elizabeth Irvin, Alena Jordan, Rachel May, Angela Morgan, Reagan Morgan, Reese Morgan, Jon Peed, Shayna Quickert, Ashley RaymerBrown, Beau Solley, Nicholas Suter, Candy Thomas, Tyler Tingle, Kevin Whitt Emma Woods, Jackson Woods, and Liz Woods. With Joshua Riley, Accompanist.

 

Performances are Thursday, March 19th at 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 20th at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, March 21st at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 22nd at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students. On Family Friday, one child 12 and under may enjoy the performance for free if accompanied by a paying adult. Also, take advantage of Senior Sunday with $2 off all senior tickets. In a brand new perk, our Downstream members receive $2 off their ticket price for any performance. (Ask the ticket booth representative how to become a member and get your discount immediately!)

 

As a nonprofit group, whose goal is to provide quality theatrical experiences, The Theatre Downstream would love to be able to offer all of its tickets free of charge, but the reality of producing these performances requires some sort of funding. The Theatre Downstream offers the opportunity for corporate sponsorship for all of their shows. Corporate sponsors enjoy many perks, including:

  • Your name and/or company’s name on the poster and all advertisements
  • A framed poster presented to a company representative on opening night
  • Recognition for you and your business every night during the curtain speech, which amounts to free advertising to a potential buying audience of 400 people per performance.
  • Preferred Seating
  • 4 complimentary tickets
  • Photo with the cast & crew
  • Tax Deductions!

Additionally, The Theatre Downstream will reduce the ticket cost for this event by $1 for every $1000 raised in corporate sponsorships.
