HCPS continues to adopt a drug testing policy for all high school students who participate in athletics, extracurricular activities, or drive to school. Please continue reading to view an informational video about this policy and the signature form required. The policy requires that all participants attend a mandatory informational forum at which the students and their parents or legal guardians must sign the “Student and Parent/Guardian Consent to Perform the Urinalysis for Drug Testing” form (09.423 AP. 21) before the student shall be permitted to fully participate in the sport / activity, or be permitted to drive a motor vehicle on to campus at Henry County High School. If students do not attend a separate athletic or organizational meeting prior to the start of the school year, the video along with signature form will count as a video informational forum and fulfill the requirement this year (2018-19).
